Judo – 1st Session back!

So omg, that was a killer! Even with the extra running, weights, chinups, etc. I am still beasted after one randori. 🙂 But it was fun. We had a different format tonight. Usual warm up (that killed me) but then following that we practiced the throws required for Red & Yellow belts.

  • O Soto Otoshi
  • skipped – D ashi bari
  • Uki Goshi
  • Tai Otoshi
  • Ippon Seo nage
  • O uchi Gari

Then after these we randori. Which for all my stay relaxed, I only managed to get one throw off. O ‘Goshi. Did get thrown, escaped the hold and managed to kesa gatame for submission.

Then followed up with a tai otoshi to move into groundwork (ne waza). Managed to actually do tai otoshi 🙂 Got gassed by a younger blue belt. Which was good.

Think I need to beast my cardio system more. In a HIITs fashion..
